06/30/01...  It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Chet Atkins died this morning at 10:00 A.M.  On behalf of all fans around the world, we are extending our condolences to the family in this great time of sorrow.  He has made all of our lives better with such beautiful music and being the "Country Gentleman" that he was.   The pain and sorrow that we are now experiencing will pass with time, but the wonderful memories of this great man will be with us forever. Some of Chet's finest work was the medleys that he played. We hope you will take the time to listen to the medley of some of his finest performances that is currently playing, and that it will help ease the sorrow we all are experiencing in the loss of this wonderful man.

07/08/00...It is with great sorrow that we have to inform you of the death of Tuck Raisor, Saturday morning, July 8, 2000.  Tuck was the father of all of the Thumbpicking clubs that have been instrumental in popularizing the playing style or Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and others.  He was the number one Chet Atkins fan and will be greatly missed by everyone.  Our thoughts and prayers will be with the Raisor family during this most difficult time.  For further information and details on Tuck's funeral, visit the Fret-Board forum.
