Shipping Information
Shipping charges are affected by the total weight and the shipping destination, especially when shipping
to International destinations. Your exact shipping and handling charges and any applicable taxes will be
shown in your shopping cart prior to finalizing the purchase. Please verify your shipping address
before placing your order. An additional shipping charge will be applied if we have to re-ship an
item because of an address error.
Please note: On U.S. holidays, order processing and/or shipping may be slightly delayed. U.S. carriers
do not ship or deliver on the following dates:

- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 20, 2003
- Presidents Day, Monday, February 10, 2003
- Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2003
- Independence Day, Friday, July 4, 2003

U.S. Shipping
Orders shipped via U.S. Postal Service (or Priority Mail from the Post Office) are not guaranteed to be
delivered within a certain time frame, and may take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
U.S. Taxes
We charge required Ohio state sales tax (5.5%) for orders shipped to Ohio addresses.
International Customs Duties And VAT
Import duties and/or taxes may be imposed by your local government on shipments from outside your
country. These charges are separate from El-Kay Software charges and are beyond our control or ability
to predict. These charges (if any) are made payable to your government. You are responsible for paying any
taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your government. Please check with your local post office for
more information.
El-Kay Software is required by law to declare an accurate monetary value on all International
shipments. We are unable to honor any requests to suppress the value of an order on the customs
sticker.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full
refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional
shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
Backorders (Out Of Stock Items)Backordered merchandise includes items that are not currently in stock. In most cases, these items are
on order from the suppliers and we are waiting for stock information from our suppliers.
We will make every effort to get the item(s) back in stock as soon as possible. If we aren't able
to ship the item(s) to you, you will be notified immediately about the backorder, and every 10 days, an
order status email will be sent. At your option, you may cancel any backordered order at any time.
If for any reason we determine that a backordered item is no longer available, we will cancel the item
from your order, issue you a refund, notify you immediately via email, and delete the item from our catalog.
